A lot have noticed that I get upset with the situation in South Africa and with good reason. This is just one of the many things that happen in here. We don't have a transportation system for races other than black people, because if you take a Taxi (minibus for black people) you will probably not arrive at your destination other than in the news paper as another murder, that is if they find your body, or missing person if they don't. When a lot of black people (not all) in SA don't like something, they don't discuss it over the tables like civilized people, they demostrate (what they call toi-toi, sing and dance about their issues). Funny thing 80% that join the 'toi-toi' don't even understand what it is about, they just sing what they want. When Taxi drivers don't get what they want, they do more than just demostrate, they ambush the highways. This is what is happening today, all the highways are being blocked off, no one can get where they need to get, my girl cannot even leave her work tonight out of fear of her life. She will need to stay there until the "demostration" is over. Here is a picture of one of the most used roads in Johannesburg: This is not civilized, this is costing our country dearly and our economy is fragile as it is. But they cannot see the harm they are doing to the country, they don't think further than what they will eat next. Anyways, That was ust a bit more about our great and beautiful country.

I heard tonight on the news why the Taxi drivers were striking... It is actually hilarious. Next year we hosting the 2010 Soccer World cup and as I said we don't have a transportation system for non-black people. For the last 5 years they have been working on the new Gautrain system, a combination of trains and busses similar to that in europe, those fast trains.
The taxi drivers were demonstrating because they want the project stopped because it will cause a decrease in their income and a lost in jobs for them, once the Guatrain is operational.
They are againsts future development because they not willing to change and become better. They don't see the how much jobs will be created because of the Gautrain, they just worry about themselves and their own mediocre life.
If I didn't love my country so much, I would just hand it over to them and immigrate to another country.

i know where i will NOT be in 2010 xD.
its quite funny, i could either carry on my taxi business, which i guess is not the best in the world or i apply for a job in the public transport system and play it safe.
sometimes nature evolves u know and once every hundred years or so, there will be someone like obama.
